Considering blacking out my satin black vespa 300 just playing around in photo shop and was thinking of powder coating the rims red and white if thats a possibility, blacking out trans cover, mirrors, grab rail, chrome trim etc.

What do you think? How do you think this would look? Good or bad idea? especially on the rims, not sure if I should pull the trigger on that one.

Good. Flat black w/ red and white is coolant classic, but why not try another color. I think yellow highlights would be cool, think Wasp or Dr. Marten's.

You know satin black is a bitch with marks and finger prints.... looks good but it's not like having a clear coat.. easy to scratch... if you don't care about this and it's gonna be a rider's bike then I vote yes! I'm a black/black/black guy, but White rims would be nice... everything else black.. 2cents Whatever you decide please share some pics!

what about that Kevlar body coating they put on Jeeps? Ive seen it before. Looks really cool, extremely resistent to scratches and such. It would give your that satin look with added durability and a "tougher" look.
