Another good one Liz. I like the trips I take with you!

. . . I have only been to a few drive-in theaters in my life and they were a lot of fun, unfortunately they did not survive with the 25 theater mega-plexs that were opening up when I was a kid.
I've been bouncing back and forth between FL-MA-ME a lot lately as we settle into the new home. I've noticed even some of those mega-plexes are ghost towns now. In my old little town of Vero Beach, AMC is struggling, and the refurbished theater is thriving with new releases a couple weeks late, "live" performances of the Met Opera, and oldies/classic nights with Hi tchcock, Star Wars, etc. The seating is great, and it looks and feels like a theater of yesteryear. In my new little town (one town over actually in Damariscotta) they do the same thing. I'm happy to see the little ones in little towns doing well.
All that said, drive-ins were fun!!
