Yes she is much more modest than my girl Suki. She is usually sprawled out like a hussy. She also flirts with Buddy then when he gets close she bats him on the head and hisses.

Every motorcyclist should know that the best place to be is actually behind Genie.
Why ?
Because she has a very attractive bottom.

You were a wonderful guide at the Tate Modern. But there's art... and then there's art.

We have a tax attorney in the US who specialized in US international tax law and US immigration law. She's pleasant and has a good sense of humor. She describes her work in the two specialties with IRS and CPB as having to spend time in mankind's two most gruesome Star Chambers, where are few rules, but many requirements.

I should be back over end of February if life goes as planned. This last week in London went by so fast it was crazy. We stayed at St Pancras and took the train all over, Bath, Liverpool and elsewhere. I ended up getting misty several times when packing and flying home. I love it there. okay, this is weird. after viewing a number of really nasty properties, and watching prices spike sharply over the past few weeks, I'd decided to withdraw from the property market.

literally hours after I took this decision, I got a call from the agent who was selling the only nice house that I'd seen (I wasn't really interested in it because I didn't like the layout and the garden was tiny), practically begging me to make an offer. If I'd wanted the place, it could have been mine.

this morning, I get a call from another agent who had been showing us some places at the weekend. it appears that potential buyers with large deposits get the privilege of seeing some of their properties before they are actually listed - indeed it turns out that some homes are sold without ever actually being listed this was a bit of a revelation to me.

i'm not sure it's legal, and if it is, they're going to have to show me something pretty special to persuade me to move .... still - sod's law and all

Marina, the cafe owner where we have the Greek Island Rally barbeque just returned from 3 weeks in England and Scotland. She raved about the food there - the Chinese and Indian, that is.

She's working on the menu for this year already. Lots of free time in the Winter.

genie- Marina makes a burrito that is quite good. Never have gone back to that place on Naxos.

Yes it is true that agents sell property without listing it. You have to chummy up to them to get these properties.

Basically sounds like those agencies have overplayed their hand and now have no offers and pissed off sellers. If you do continue, they should at least get a bit more real than the usual, got loads of offers spiel you always get.

actually, the agent who showed us a couple of properties at the weekend was much more forthcoming than I'd expected. I think he liked us ... and Bill's flirting with him probably helped as well. Eyelashes emoticon

Anyhooo, in other riveting news, I briefly emerged from more books tonight to file my tax return before Friday. After last years stressful and expensive screw-up, I wasn't looking forward to it. Fortunately, things are more simple as a PAYE employee again, and its done. Phew. As a upstanding citizen I've even paid up what I owe after PAYE - £1.40. Don't spend it all at once Mr Osborne.
