Well done Orla getting Mum and Dad to get you a scooter.

Skok thread seems to be bogging down a bit lately. I don't remember it happening at this point on previous incarnations. Any one else notice?

it's in hornchurch just up the road from Doug, and just around the corner from kitty!
i looked in Plumstead but I didn't fancy all those hills - and there is simply nothing on the market there at the moment. this one's pretty much ready to move into (although I've got plans to extend the kitchen). 2 beds, upstairs bathroom, living room, dining room, and a finished loft room! there's a driveway out front for Girlfrond - a big eye bolt will be going into the front of the house to keep her safe. here are a few pics.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow great choice. Beautiful all around. Installed a bath tub similar to that for my wife and she loves it.
And wait. What's that I see out back. A SHED?! aka a Scooter Shack. |

My side gate was also too narrow for a GTS. It did go through though. You just had to wiggle a little bit from side to side to get the handlebars in. Think filtering and it will fit...

That looks great. Is there much of a chain to sort out? Just wondering how long we need to wait for the housewarming?

no chain on either end, which is a giant bonus. if everything goes to plan i should be in there in about 6-8 weeks. yikes
i'll probably leave the scooter out front - it'd be a right pain to have to wiggle it in and out of the back garden every day. |

It does look like it would fit through with a little wiggle. I think I'd prefer the inconvenience over the added risk leaving it out front. The lack of chain is a real bonus. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly.

Buyers are the chain. Genie isn't selling so no downward link, if the seller isn't buying then there's also no upward link. The more links the more likely the sale could collapse.

Bloody fantastic news genie.
You've even got a kennel at the end of the garden for the Dog! Hmm... 6 to 8 weeks huh? I might even be back in the UK by then (I'm keeping my fingers crossed on *that* one too...). YAY, new Party Pad. ![]() |

Congratulations - looks like the perfect tardis. And in lovely condition so that you can concentrate on what you want in the place, rather than what you need.
Please, please don't do what I did - looking at what you could get for the same money in other parts of the UK. Serious risk of drowning in your own tears, believe me... David |

Last night I bribed a friend to come and see The Grand Budapest Hotel with me.
No regrets as it was totally and utterly amazing. The most original, funny and inventive movie I've seen in years and Ray Fiennes is just amazing in the lead role. Go see it. Bill xxx |
