Modern Vespa

On Sunday morning we went to see a rather average exhibition about ruins at the Tate Brit .... in the afternoon, whilst running along the Lea River, we were treated to a very spectacular real ruin. This is a scabby building next to the A406 in Tottenham. It's been in an abandoned and nasty condition for as long as I can remember, and it's finally coming down. It's not a very nice location - the A406 runs right next to it, and behind it is a light industrial area, so I can't imagine they're going to replace it with flats, but in the rush to regenerate, one never knows ...

OK, today I roasted a couple of fingers while moving an alloy wheel that had just come out of a power power coat oven.
I would have dropped it if it wasn't promised to a customer later in the day.
Talk about fighting your instincts while attempting to lower it to the floor while it's blistering your skin.
It was left in the tyre bay still roasting hot where as it would usually be left to hang while it cools but no one told me.

Then later I find out the brake discs on my VW Up that have well and truly warped aren't covered by it's 3 year warranty.
Up to 6k miles yes. At 24k miles sadly no.

Not buying a VW again.

Folds arms and goes humph.

I,m always full of silly terminology.
Speaking of which i always refer to the bit between your nob and your bum as a vanilla strip. Because much like neapolitan ice cream its the bit in between the pink and the brown.
I,ve also heard it called a gooch which makes me giggle.

Thanks Stick. That's the first one of these I ever completed. I won't even mention how long it took.

It is 1:30am and I think I just woke the house laughing. Good one. Won't eat Neapolitan ice cream again at least without seeing a man nude picking something up. And we all know how glamorous that is.

After a 13 hour day I treated myself to 2 saveloy and large chips from the local Chinese.
