Seth and I went to True Food Kitchen at the mall adjacent to Town and Country, excellent food & service! This morning, breakfast at Bread and Cie, 500 University Ave, a wonderful spot!

If you can get to the beaches north of downtown San Diego there are some fun spots. George's at the Cove in La Jolla (rooftop at sunset), En Fuego in Del Mar, La Osteria Romantica down in LaJolla Cove is a great little Italian place.

San Diego is great, but I love the north beach towns (Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas) etc. even better.

The Prado in Balboa Park is a great restaurant and the park is beautiful. There is also a theater there called the Old Globe theater that puts on great local productions so you can do a dinner theater thing in a beautiful park. Trattoria Positano in Cardiff by the sea is a wonderful mom and pop italian place that we have often enjoyed, not too far from San Diego. La Jolla has a ton of great places but they can be pricey. You can also just ride up PC highway and find a million places. St. Tropez bakery and Bistro is a great lunch place in Encinitas. We love San Diego and go there at least once a year have a great time and enjoy.

Knight Train turned me on to Carnitas Snack Shack. He was right. The Triple Threat sandwich was excellent! Topped it off with the butterscotch dessert. If you like pork GO!

New York style pizza at Bronx Pizza! The best I've had, cool hood to be in too!
Filippi's in Little Italy is good, huge portions and good prices.
