Hi all, found this footrest and rack today, thinking about buying it. I'm wondering what the footrest will mount to. Will I have to drill holes? I'm trying to visualize where it will mount, but cant seem to. Has anyone mounted one of these?

Also, this BBQ is different than the ones I've seen before. 1 less bar, and the guy says the back rest does not slide back and forward. Is there a style that does? Seems I've seen em. I'm thinking I'd like to have one that I could remove the backrest... Says it was on a US P200, so should clear the tail light...

Thanks for any input.

That BBQ rack is for a P200. It sits a little lower than the other style.
The backrest does slide but is probable stuck like they all are. You'll
have to use some penetrating oil and a rubber mallet to work it free.
Good rack! I have both kinds on my P200's

Strange looking footrest, but it looks like it may mount on the same bolts as the centre stand

Ahhh... Thanks, It did not cross my mind that it might mount underneath.

Might mount in top if you use the stand bolts. Think you will have to remove the stand, put the bars in place, drop the bolts through, and reattach stand

Those are both original accessories for the American market circa 1979-81.

The footrest bar originally came with cowl bars that attached with brackets and connected to the CEV (American) taillight bracket.

Both bikes in the background here have one (one with the cowl bars)

this bike has both the bbq rack and the cowl bars (and every other 80s p200 accessory)

The footrest mounts to the center stand bolts.. And both of those mount without drilling or anything.

If you hate the footrest bar, I'd be interested in buying it off of you. I've been looking for one of those. They used to be very common, but haven't seen on recently... Think they ended up in dumpsters. :)
