Is it possible to transport a 1963 Vespa in a wagon if it fits? Does it need to be transported standing?
Please help!
Thanks so much!

Not yet. I am planning to install one soon. I will cushion the back of the car to make sure that nothing bends...

Just lay it down. You will need someone up front to pull it in.

I did my lammy in a 7series volvo and had plenty of room.

Well, don't be a dummy and transport with a full tank of gas.

I drained about most of it and my cap is secure.

Drain the oil too. I'd just take an 11 mm wrench & remove the gas tank - if the smell gets in there ...
That's what I like about Golfs, take out the seats & transport standing up, don't drain nuthin'.

Lots of pics with a smallie in there, here's the COSA going in, ass first thru the front door. A 2 door would be easier.

If you have a 5, it should go right in. You might have to pull the front wheel off to get it in a 3, but that's a snap. I brought mine home in a V50, along with lots of spares, including another motor. The front wheel was already off, but I'm pretty sure it would have gone in assembled. I don't have a pic of it uncovered, but you can make out the left handgrip on the left, and the front hub on the right (next to the wheel with the drum).
