I'm thinking of moving from a full-face helmet for daily city riding to something a little more light weight and compact. I've been looking at the Mini momo and the Fighter helmets.

Those of you who have these, how do you like them? I'm seeing that the Fighter is relatively larger than the Minimomo, is it absurdly large? Do the visors actually block wind from the eyes, particularly on the Minimomo, the visor looks to be too small to protect the eyes.

Do they fit under the seat, or need to go into the topbox?

It'd be great to hear some opinions from those who's had/used them!

Not the ones you are looking at but i have this Scorpion helmet with a pull down have shield. You just hit the tab and down it comes and retracts easily as well. Changing out the shields is easy also. They run big if you order one. Mines glossy black. Good luck

Hi,

I have a momo fighter. I've not seen in a while, it's buried in the loft somewhere.
The visor is very large on it and it does a great job of stopping wind in your eyes from what I remember.

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't fit under the seat.

I'll try and dig it out over the next few days and find out for sure.

I have a Bilt Fighter type helmet. Super light weight but slippery to me and I keep nearly dropping it. The D ring strap is long enough to use the hemet thingy underneath the seat. The peak on the Scorpion comes in handy and I use my Bell Revolver Evo in open face mode juat to block the glare. At higher speeds my Bilt's sunshield is not as protective from the wind despite using a small windcreen.

I dug my fighter out of the loft to have a look.
I'm actually really glad I did as I will start using it now and then.

Anyway, It does fit under the seat of a GTS, well kind of.
You have to remove the visor. The shell fits easily, but the big "screws" will fowl if fitted.

Removing the visor only takes 15 seconds or so, but you may find it a ball ache if you were doing it multiple times a day.

I also have an old previous generation MomoMini.

That fits fine under the seat. It has no visor though and if you did go on the hunt for one I'd advise trying it on 1st as it sort of sits on your head rather then your head sitting inside it iykwim.

My latest helmet, A Shark Raw has no chance of going under the seat. I can forgive it though as it's flaming awesome!
