Modern Vespa

Is it just quirky Italian a Vespa trait or big trouble. When I hang the bike over and only to the left in a fairly sharp turn I hear what kind of sounds like ball bearings bouncing around? Thought maybe loose zip ties or wires confused??

If you have a side stand you may be dragging it.

I'd be proud to drag the side stand but I don't have one. It is not real loud and seems to come from the rear. Very strange, well the bike is Italian, my old Ducati had some very odd ways.......

Make sure the exhaust bolts are snugged up tight.

"jingle jangle"? By chance are you wearing spurs?

Make sure your air filter box screws are on tight. I lost all three once and it made a weird racket. Luckily it wasn't far from our workshop place. That's on the left.

Well, no I still have not figured this sound out, very metallic and only when the bike is "heeled" over left, nice video

Well that rules out the airbox. How's your center stand? Could it be loose? Not much but just enough.

could be clutch bell/variator/rollers.

My guess is the rear wheel nut retainer under the cotter pin. I tend to use a 1/8 pin to lock the wheel because it fits easier in the axle hole. This lets the stamped steel nut retainer jingle a bit on the nut. Tap yours with a screw driver and see.
