You know, I really would have been willing to send it to Israel. I took all the other international packages to the post office today.

I know that (and appreciate the offer very much). But I am doing so much traveling between now and when I'll be in New York next month that I was really worried I'd miss the pick up at the post office here.

They have kind of a hair trigger when it comes to returning packages that are not picked up right away.

It's all good.

For some reason, the image of Jess somewhere out there doing kegel exercises totally made me donkey laugh over my breakfast. Now my kids are looking at me strangely.

Nah, stuff doesn't go missing... it just isn't always reported in a timely manner. The doorman in her building is a nice guy and I can usually get more accurate info from him than from my sis.

Ah, TV references from my youth!

No, but he is arguable the best connected doorman on the upper west side. You need a bottle of angostura bitters at 3 am, he can find you some before the ice melts in your shaker of Manhattan's.

Heh. If it's any consolation, it's entirely possible that some of the yet-to-be-delivered ones are stuck in limbo until the carrier collects their tribute.

Ours arrived in Virginia today - no postage due.

The mailman told me they only charge extra to people they don't like. Oz must have done something to piss them off, which isn't hard to imagine. Razz emoticon

Both patches arrived in HI without any extra postage due. Still waiting on the 3rd package, so you're at least 2 for 3 right now.

Also, they look AWESOME!!!! Thank you!

I'd love to see pictures, if anyone wants to share, of what you all do with this patch.

Are you fixing it to a riding jacket? Pinning it to a notice board? Or maybe you are keeping it pristine in its tin, collector style...

This is the reason I did not order a patch, I do not know what to do with it. I still have my pi patch lying in its tin with all my tools and spare parts. I do not have a patch jacket or any other place to put it...

Twice I was about to submit my order and thought better of it. Some other person got a patch which I hope they know what to do with!

I have a bunch of scooter related patches. I don't have a place to put them, but I didn't want to miss out. On the plus side, it is my way to help support MV.

Shades of this house. Training the shared computer couples to send out two emails seems nearly as impossible as us coordinating from across the room.

We might have flubbed that, I think. Looking back, I have two orders from you, and I sent two packages, but the two packages that I sent only covered the two patches from the first order, and neither of them covered the second order.

I'll pass that off to Julie and have her fix that. Sorry about that.

I have many of the MV patches and I'm going to have them matted in a frame along with photos of the two scooters I have owned. I haven't decided on the frame or pattern of patches/photos, but I'm at least that far with what to do. I'll figure out more after Jess puts the last design up for sale.

LAST design ... ?? Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon I have a hinged shadow box with a collection of motorcycle racing pins. Still a thin enough profile for hanging on the wall. One would work well for patches, too, and you can always lift the lid and add another easily, should a new design should happen to arrive.

Jess, my bad for misunderstanding. The designs are all beautiful pieces of art; I might have to have more than one frame.

No worries, I screwed up ordering like a normal person. I kind of figured I'd be getting 3 since you said all the patches were going to go out individually. Take your time. Not like I need everything nownownow! Razz emoticon (I work at a place that ships stuff out on a daily basis, and let me tell you, there are some super impatient people out there... Like they ordered hours before and then call and ask why they haven't received a tracking # yet. )

Okay, Oz's package is not an isolated incident. I got another one back with insufficient postage. It had postage for 3 ounces, and the envelope absolutely, positively weighs in at 2.9 ounces. I weighed it on both my postal scale and my kitchen scale.

Totally bogus.

I'm sending this one back out in a fresh envelope.
