Modern Vespa

For the hell of it I mounted the Remus on the GTV today... I started by disconnecting the battery and started unbolting the stock setup... about 30 minutes later I had the Remus system on...

I reconnected the battery and hit the starter switch....

A completely different beast she is!!! it even sounds meaner than the GTS did...

No loss of pull or top end.. I even noticed a nice punchy midrange and about 5mph more on the top end...

I was so stoked I ended up riding all the way down to the Outer Banks and back (about 165 miles round trip)

Pulled 68.5 mpg running 105 miles at 60+ mph.

Attached is a shot of the GTV sitting beside the Wright Memorial bridge...

And I scored a "Brew Thru" T-Shirt driving through for a tasty cold beverage!

The LOVE is back! Good on ya...

After about 120 miles I was damn near riding side saddle.... Im in need of a true saddle upgrade now... I can imagine someone running 300 miles in a day on any of the stock saddles.

I've ridden 500 miles in a 9 hour straight run, only time off the seat was to get gas. I do regular 200 mile straight rides to San Diego on both a GTS and a GT with stock seats.

Try riding with cycling shorts underneath your pants. It's a great relief for those long haul journeys.
