I went in Broward, but they have classes in Dade as well. Lots of my scooter pals used them and they were all satisfied.
If at all possible, avoid going to class June - October. The heat is a killer. If you must go during these months, be prepared for the heat
Yes ... forgot about this... I did the Intensive course (2 days)... we got there at 7 am and left almost a 7 pm... Problem was that you hardly get a lunch(30 min best to take your own lunch) or a bathroom break(2 one in the morning and one in the afternoon) because they teach ALL the time (by the second day my left clutch hand was dead)... if you arrive late ... or go to the bathroom or need to leave early ... you might miss something that they taught... and you didn't practice. Take in consideration EVERYBODY in my class passed.... believe me when I tell you ... some In my very gentle and nicest opinion should had not... then again ... I not an instructor. Another things was you need to have everything they tell you to bring and they don't have. So people who didn't have a helmet, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt or t shirt, jeans, full finger gloves, and boot covered ankles (these items need to be exactly what they ask.. when you call ask them).. had to run back and get all this things. And finally I had the choice pick scooter licence or motorcycle licence... I went motorcycle, never know when you might need to ride one. This was my experience and it was a good one
. Good luck, ride safe and seeya around.
