I've almost finished putting my sprint back together, after painting it last week.
When on it's center stand The front wheel is on the ground.
I don't think the stand is bent.

So that leads to my next question...
It's a p200 engine in a sprint frame, and there is a P spacer on the top of the shock. It seems pretty long, and it looks like the rear could be sitting high.
Do I need that spacer? A shorter one?
What is the correct ride height for the rear of the frame?
Thanks...

IIRC the black plastic dampner/spacer was the same size on both models. Maybe someone else can confirm?

I would suspect a bent front fork may be the reason. Was it in good shape when you dropped it to paint the rest of the scoot?

I think you're talking about the extension nut right Oct.? if so, the One for the P is almost twice as long.. get one for a sprint... Also make sure the brackets that hold the stand to the bottom of the frame are on the right way around.

Brackets are on the right way...

Yes, it's the extension nut...

It looks super long...

The only reference I have for ride height, are pictures of other scooters.
It looks to me like the bottom of the engine side cowl should be closer to the selector box, but it's closer to the flywheel nut...

Maybe I could put both my feet on the ground if I put a Sprint one on my P200.

OR... go w/ style... anything in this category will do... don't have to be black/white!

It's best if your shoes match the colour(s) of the scoot.

After a trip to the sip site, here is what I learned...

P200 = 52.5mm

125 - 150 super = 42mm

Rally/Sprint/GT = 26mm

I measured the one I have...

It's 55mm!

I'm thinking I might just cut mine in half...

You may not want to do that! I've gone down that path.. See in there? The threads don't go all the way down on the inside! You could tap it I suppose, but you'd be much better off buying the right one!

Here it is, without the spacer...
Just the shock and the buffer.

How does this look as far as stance/ride height?

I think it looks good like that, but you should make sure nothing on your motor is going to smash into your frame when the shock compresses.

Thanks for the info.

Will have to check this out on my Super.

It has a 200 in it and the front tire is on the ground, it just does not appear stable on the center stand.

the exhaust is really hanging low. you do need a spacer bolt on there for sure. the bottom of the cowl should be even with the top "rung" of the flywheel cover.

The p200 flywheel cover, or the original sprint flywheel cover?

The p200 engine in there has more rungs than the original engine...
