Here is my new LX 50 purchased for use exclusively on Jamestown Island (RI), where the top speed limit is 40mph. It's posing with a friend's '65 150, which offers quite a contrast in riding experience. If only the vintage 150 had the modern 50's brakes!
Had actually meant my original comment to be a subtle response to the "Why would anyone want a 50?" thread, but I hit the wrong buttons. My only observation after 75 miles is how do you break in a 50 when you need the whole performance envelope for any kind of normal use. So I'm now subscribing to the ride-it-like-you-stole-it school of break-in! But seriously, in an island summer community, it is actually perfect.
