Modern Vespa

This unit is almost complete, cut out on a computer controlled plasma cutter and is a perfect fit , Just bolt it up. It uses the two aft seat bolts and one rack brace bolt . The unit was computer designed by a high end fab shop and the bulk of the unit out of 3/16 stainless steel more photos to follow tomorrow. As far as my cost I don't know at this time but I will in the am. I will be afraid to tell my wife. They have maintained the design work and will be able to reproduce them at any time in the future. After looking at what others have done I feel that this will be the best one on the planet. Capt. Gary

You don't have to remove anything except the black plastic seat latch cover in order to remove the entire hitch. This hitch mounts to the strongest place on the scooter. It is also a great place to hook tie down straps for transport. Finish photos tomorrow. Capt. Gary

The bracket is stainless steel and doesn't hold paint well, however, it will not rust. The finish will be buffed stainless. Gary

Yes I am sure we can, it would cost less to build several and they could be test fitted to my scoot. This is about mod # 4 to obtain a drop dead perfect bolt up fit.

Each time you heat metal things change then you have to re adjust. Then you make a mistake and you have to go at it again, and we had several of those but here is the finished product. Capt. Gary

We had a small amount of up and down movement so we are adding two braces. The side to side movement was 0 the braces will fix

Today I finished wiring the lights on the trailer. I also put a grease zert fitting in the trailer part of the hitch. All I lack is hooking the unit to the scoot and doing a test ride. Capt. Gary
