I have used the search button quite a bit last night but I could not find a previous thread that was that helpful. After having left the lights on for the 4th time in a couple of months my batter is dead. I tried to charge it with my battery charger/tender but... no luck. I think is toast. It was already gel battery but not a perfect fit for the battery tray of my VBB. I was wondering is anyone can point me to a good 6V battery (possibly gel, less maintenance than the lead acid) that fits the tray well and that I can get via the interweb.
Thank you in advance!

I'm VBB battery box size ignorant. I have used a UB645 sealed lead acid (AGM) for four years on a 6V Rally. It is much smaller than the original, and I am not using the original hold down. I have also left the light switch on a few times and drained it, but so far it has taken a charge. No leaks. Inexpensive. Sometimes found at big box stores. Possibly what you are already using.

This chart shows some different sizes. Look at UB6 prefixes.
