I think the fact that the station was dumb enough to read it is kind of hysterical.

Wow. Poor taste of a joke but the airing of it was funny as you hear this new anchor reading them, you have to wonder if anyone on the camera or production crew realized and had this sudden ting that something was wrong with that report.

Is it just me, but as the media has shifted to iReporting, social media, and Internet data mining that the journalistic quality seems to be deteriorating at the expense of getting info out faster than anyone else. Half the crap on the news these days seems more opinion and crossfire discussions than facts. Not a political statement, just an observation that hits me when stuff like this pops up.

Looks like they are going to pin it on a "Summer Intern" at the NTSB. He/she is going to be the fall guy. Someone at the TV station should get reamed for allowing this to make it on the air. Amazing. Even more amazing that it happened in San Francisco-you think they might have had an Asian-American in their newsroom that could have stopped this?

You might have meant "news anchor", but on the off chance you really meant "new", well... sadly no. This is Tori Campbell, and she's a veteran anchor from one of my local tv channels. She's actually generally pretty good.

Tori Campbell is a great anchor. I can only imagine the facepalm or deskface that happened after reading this. Oof.

I heard Craven Moorhead was the first one to discover the mistake. He quickly passed the info to Mike Hunt who shut it down.
