Sure, the foot pegs on my GTS are bitchin, they pop out like magic and are neato and aluminum. Problem is, they aren't in the right place.
My girlfriend is a petite person and these foot pegs just don't work for her. Are there/do I have any alternatives? Any after market solutions or secret spots for other peg locations?

Wife is 5'2 and had issues too. I forked out the cash for the Vespa extensions because I wanted it clean and designed well for what it is suppose to be doing.

I mounted mine this week and we did a 76 mile ride on Saturday and they worked great. Spend the money, get the good stuff. It took like 20 minutes to do the install. Search the forum Kieth posted some good pictures installing these.

I got mine at Scooterwest. I am sure others sell them too.

Those are interesting.
My husband is not eager to ride with me often, due to feeling crowded by the close footpegs.

I have had the foot peg extensions shown in the above posts and my girlfriend raves about them. She is about 5'1" or 5'2" and weighs barely above 100 lbs. With the regular foot pegs she would take the impact of a pothole on her tailbone and lower back because the pegs were not under her legs. It made for some painfully short rides, at times. With the new pegs they can easily support her weight and she is able to ride not only more comfortably but she is also a more stable passenger. Her legs, instead of her ass, absorb the dips, potholes and bumps in the road now that she is in a proper riding position instead of having her legs extended forward and wrapped around the curve of the cowls.

In addition, I am no longer knocking her foot off the peg at stops. I'm just 5'7" so with the old configuration her foot was in my path when I was at a stop. It was awkward but we enjoyed scooting. With the new pegs she sings their praises on every ride. We ride Mulholland, Angeles Crest Hwy together as well as urban city streets.

The extensions are pricey but they are worth it for the comfort of my passenger. I love to ride with my girlfriend and she likes to ride on the scoot. These pegs were the best investment I made for the scoot since the original purchase. It is a great investment for scooterists who frequently ride two up, for those who only have passengers occasionally it might be priced out of consideration as a likely alternative.

Edited to add I purchased mine from ScooterWest and the service was great and the installation was easy.
