Tomorrow I am doing a loop through Maine and NH including Evans N otch, Kancamangus, and maybe the summit of Mt. Washington if I can bulllshit my way in. They don't like cvts. More to follow hopefully.

Nice ride report and photos. I hope it was cooler up in the mountains than it was on Cape Ann in Mass. I love the Kancamangus and the North Conway and Jackson area as long as it isn't leaf peeper season.

Yeah it was still pretty hot but not too bad if I kept moving.


Also a few days ago I did this short ride. http://goo.gl/maps/UcNny 26 is a main artery with pretty good pavement and some nice sweepers. 219 and 140 have potential but have rough pavement. 124 and 119 have some good curves and pretty new asphalt. I rode them twice. 118 has potential but a little rough and Hunts Corner Rd. going north from Papoose Pond has some smooth twisties, rough twisties and some dirt that I think will soon be paved. Once these roads are fixed you could add another 80 miles of other roads for a nice ride.

Northern roads take a beating in winter and the funds and time to fix them are limited. Hit or miss mostly.
