Hiya all,
Have any of you any experience of using these bluetooth helmet intercoms I've found on Ebay. Or has anyone any advice on what they would recommend please?

Sena. They seem reliable and are easy to use.

Ive had two different models of Cardo bluetooth setups (Scala Rdier FM and Scala G4). Both work flawlessly.

I 2nd the Cardo Scalarider. We have the Q3 setup

The intercom works great, internal fm radio, iphone integration with both music and phone calls, no problem. It was very easy to install into my full face helmet and wife's modular helmet.

I thought I was going to get the Sena SMH10 at first since I read good reviews of that on the interwebs. My local shop didn't have it in stock when I was ready though. They suggested I try the Cardo since they have had good success with that one as well.

My family has the Sena SMH10s. We absolutely love them. Great range, nice clarity. I was leading a group ride this past weekend with my wife riding sweep and it was awesome! It was so easy to keep the group together, the comms never cut out. I love the Sena, plus it's a lot cheaper than the Cardo sets. The other thing I'd recommend is to check out the controls of both. The Cardo has small buttons while the Sena has a large jog dial, very easy to manipulate with gloves on.

Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Doug and CapUncular. SENA is a great unit at a great price.

Beware of "no-name" helmet communicators, as they tend to have high failure rates.

Aviator47 and I communicated seamlessly in Spain via Sena units. It was not pre-planned, he had a 10 I had a 5. They paired within a couple of clicks and duplexed within one press of the dial. Range on the 5 is about 500-1000m, better with the 10. 5 is easier to install on a modular. 5 is great for buddy to buddy comms or pillions.

I've got a SenaSMH-10 and love it. A friend just bought a pair and loves them. Another friend bought one, and convinced several OTHER friends to buy them. They're catching on around here. I highly recommend them. I've been using mine daily for over a year.

Well we bought a set from EBay, easy to install; one on my Caberg and one on my wife's Nolan. Paired with phones 1st and can listen and control music and calls. Then turned off Bluetooth on phone, restarted and paired the headsets together. Brilliant. £65.00 well spent.

Used in and out of canyons last week at Arches National Park. And talked up to 2 miles on flat land.
