I recently disassembled my LX150 to take it to the paint shop. They did a great job with it.

I took the opportunity to overhaul the engine and install the Malossi 190cc Kit, Sito plus escape and .38 needle. I also cleaned the valves and carb. After assembly, when taking it for the first test ride, the engine started great but couldn't go faster than 30mph. It turned out to be the the carb diaphragm, it wasn't sitting properly.

But after the second test drive, I noticed some issues in my instrument panel:

1. No panel lights. I can't see any readings at night
2. No fuel level reading (the connector in the tank is connected)
3. When I switch the high beam, the "low fuel" indicator light goes on

Everything else is working properly: head lights (both low and high beams), turn lights, break light, license plate light.

I would really appreciate if someone can throw a light on how to work on this problem.

Thanks!!!

Without even looking at the circuit diagram - I bet there's a ground connection that's dodgy.

But that's just a gut thought.

Ok. I'm no expert obviously, so, how would I fix this? should I take the circuit diagram and test the appropriate grounds?

Thanks!!!
