ive had me t5 written off ... its only got a bent legsheild n a bent toolbox with some scuffs on the side panels .... the thing is i cant afford to sort it just yet so would i be able to get it motd as is n ride it or would it fail??

its on a cat c so i need to have it checked over n a new mot on it..

its straight as .. ive ridden it and even lined the seam under the tank with the headstock ... all it needs is another front indicator cover n a brake lever

ive posted it on this side as i know the othere n no uk mot'ers over there

A Motorbike does NOT need a VIC - ever - it only applies to cars.

A Cat C motobike write-off can be repaired by anyone and the only issue is what the insurance company require before they will insure it. Usually they require a new MOT done and that is all.

As for value - Its an unknown, as a well repaired CAT C that only had cosmetic damage would be as good as a non written-off bike..."

but trying to find that on the VOSA website, now that's a little more difficult

thing is im only wanting it as me runner till i get me other on the road then its getting the grinder ... was just gonna put an indicator lens on n ride

ill have to have a word with me insurance when it gets home .... im getting 675 for it ... bet they coulda sorted it for less than that n made a decent cut
