I just scored a used bbq rack of ebay. It comes with the backrest but the pad is missing. Any idea where I can get one and which one will fit? There seem to be lots of pads and slipcovers on ebay but I don't know how to tell if they will fit before I buy.

Thanks!

I don't know if anything aftermarket is going to fit that. It was made with a specific backrest.

Not at all. I paid $152.50 and $18 for shipping. I really wanted a bbq rack and ideally with the backrest option. I did not want a flip down rack (I just don't like them). I didn't want a "3 in 1" because I won't carry a spare tire and I think they look silly without. Didn't want to order from overseas.

I looked around for racks on the various websites and decided if I could get a decent condition BBQ rack for roughly the same price as a good quality new rack I would buy it because it was what I wanted and I wasn't settling.

If others are interested in a bbq rack this one is still cheap and closes in 17 hours. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200943551440?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

good info. there was recent discussion of where the current market is.

BBQ is the OG.....enjoy. I have the one with the curved arms for the spare tire.

good luck with the upholstery. you could always cut out a wood frame/shape and have that upholstered. I'm lucky (?) enough to live by the border so I sent off my P-seat with one of my associates to get
re-upholstered in TJ (mexico) at a whopping $30.....

for more reference, the person I was bidding against seemed to have $150 as their top end. I really hoped to get it for $130 but didn't think I would.
