Modern Vespa

i was riding my et4 , unaware that the tank was showing empty ... filled it up with petrol ... got home wife said u smell of petrol .. realizing that it must be scooter related i went outside and noticed a oil patch on the floor ... i started the scooter up and petrol started dripping out of overflow pipe ... left it for a few hours and started it again , this time no drippage ...it happened again after a few days, but then it stopped .... is it still safe to ride the bike , my service is due in a couple of months .. can i still carry on a i am or do i really need to get it checked pronto ..

Sure u didn't overflow when filling up?

no , i never fill it to the top always 3/4 full

Can u view your engine on an et4 by removing the storage bucket under seat? If you can, check all of your hoses etc while bikes running

Just look to see if you can see any loose hoses or even may be able to see the leak
