Modern Vespa

Well, earlier in the week I sold a scooter. So, carefully following my rule about how many scooters I can own - that meant I could buy another. This caused me to ride an LX150ie. And that reminded me how much I liked the light weight and the quick steering of the 150 I owned several years ago. The smooth starting and running of the ie is just frosting on the cake. So, it became the newest member of my little stable and I spent the weekend scooting around town on this little darling with a big smile on my face. She is celeste blue so I've named her "Celeste" . (I'm sure Judy could have told me I was missing out on this particular slice of life, but I had to prove it to myself)

Whoa! You didn't by chance find that little darlin' at Wheel Works in Eugene did you? If so I spent some special time perched on its saddle while waiting for my new rear tire to get installed. The one I refer to was in mint like-new condition and I'd have snagged it were I not such a cheap bugger!

Anyway it's a beaut, bet you'll enjoy the heck out of it. 8)

No, Larry. This one is from Vespa Milwaukie. They were having a great promotion to reduce their stock of pre-2013 scooters. The celeste blue and aquamarine are both beautiful colors IMO, so I was sucked in .

Beautiful scooter and i won't even say i told ya so. The 150's are an awesome all around scooter. Rides different than the big guys,eh? Have fun and here's to many miles and smiles with Celeste.
