When folks say do a plug chop at wot, do they really mean full throttle or just the maximum revs you're willing to push it?
The engine is a 150 super with 3rd port cut, p150 exhuast, Cdi and 20/20. At 3/4 throttle it's revving so high I fear it will eat itself if I push it higher. Based on gearing and speed its going about 5500rpm . I can't bring myself to rev it higher for a plug chop run.
I previously had my timing a little more advanced and it would top out at around 5000rpm. I retarded the timing a bit to address pinging and now it seems there no upper limit to how high this thing will rev.
Opinions, thoughts, and random comments all appreciated. Cheers
