Locks to a hex fastener. Doesn't damage like regular Vise Grip with teeth.

It's for grabbing rounded off nuts and bolts. I also use it to hold chisels because they have that same hex shape.

Close... it's a violin-maker's purfling channel cutter. There is a very sharp knife blade closely spaced to the black guide piece. Purfling is the narrow, decorative set of strips around the perimeter of the top and back of the body of a stringed instrument. The tool is used to cut two closely spaced slits parallel to the edge of the body, and then the waste between them is removed with a narrow chisel.

Those silver triangles feel like really dull blades. I'm totally guessing but I'm thinking it's for cutting foam board. So if you ran that over a piece of foam it would cut a "bend point" in the board or possibly making 2 45 deg angles to make a 90 degree seam?

It's a kerfing tool used in the building of ductwork. They come in different colours for different cuts. This one is "The Red Tool" for making Vee Grooves.

The tool I posted is a M.U.T pin splitter and straightener.

It is used for resetting the split on 20 to 100 amp stage pin connectors. There are holes in either side of the Tee handle that allow you to straighten bent 20 and 60 amp pins. The newer polycarbonate model has a wire brush in one end of the tee handle to clean the pins.

My sash windows have hemp rope and lead weights in the side channels. You must have some new fangled windows there.

BTW has anyone got a tool for retrieving the lead weight when the hemp rope breaks??????

Depends on how far the weight falls. I've had good luck with a wire coat hanger if it's not too far down.

Hmm, does the piece holding the metal plate with the holders swivel or move in another manner? It's hard to get a feel for the depth. Some sort of antique drafting table add-on?

I like this game; it's just fun to think about what it could be used for.

Usually it's take the whole case apart with pry bars and screw driver at that point. New sash rope. Nails.

Yeah my house is almost 100 years old.
