Hey Midnight. It was a dark BLUE A4. Not Black.

Not that I was looking at the car until she passed me and made her way up to you!

North Carolina Plates. Dark leather interior. Late model. The car-not her.

So, here we are BEFORE I was assaulted on the way home! Nice ride to Little Switzerland from Charlotte and then on to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful day. WONDERFUL scenery on the way home!

Not a bad idea...

On my way home from a wedding, my parents were following behind me in their car. When we stopped just before getting on the interstate, they asked, "Did you see that chunk of rubber or board that was flung back inches from your head?" I had no idea what they were talking about. I guess there was a truck that was in front of me that either was losing tread or ran over a 2x4 or something. It flew past my head just inches from my helmet. I didn't remember seeing it at all, though it's possible I dodged without really registering I was doing it...

Not riding, but driving with a friend in Texas on a back road, the wives traveling in a car behind us with the kids.

Heard a "thump thump" and looked behind us to see a 9' rattle snake flying through the air and directly onto the windshield of the wife and kids car.

There was absolute pandemonium in the wife/kid car, and hysterical laughter in the car I was in.

For some reason the wife views this event differently than I do!

I had a somewhat similar experience hiking with my son on a dirt trail with a hill on one side and a dropoff on the other. We round a curve and there's this big snake lying across the road sunning himself. We carefully step around it, then hike around the next bend, and have to dodge out of the way as a bicyclist comes screaming around the curve in front of us and passes us heading )(unbeknownst to him) toward the snake. We listened for the shreik or the sound of him running off the road, but never heard anything. Now I KNOW he hit that snake -- he couldn't have missed it!
