Ditto. I remember it well...seems like the theatre's haven't been showing every several years like they used to...I really enjoyed it! I had to Google it to confirm that it was released in 1940. Keeping in mind it was 1940 the animation was way ahead of it's time!

Thanks for the reminder!

"Till There Was You", in the Music Man and then made very popular by the Beatles.

"Can't Take My Eyes Off of You", Conspiracy Theory.

Jurassic Park theme original song. It makes the opening of the movie look like and opera. It's like listening to an opera overture. This is such an exquisite piece of music to the likes of Carmina Burana and the Right of Spring. It takes me back to being a little kid. Its soaring melody is eerily beautiful. The hair on the back of my neck literally stand up whenever I hear it!

An interesting thing I have noticed after watching a great movie is the number of songs listed in the credits. Most of the time I don't even notice more than one or two during the movie. That's probably because the others didn't play long enough.

+1

John Hughes soundtracks are a fantastic slice of the 80's. Good to see I'm not the only one who listens to the Some Kind of Wonderful soundtrack!

That is a good list! Totally agree with Layla and House of the Rising Sun. Both those songs were played during "people getting whacked" scenes in the movies. Scorsese, baby.

Don't Stop Believing surprised me because, while I totally agree, I've never really thought about it.
