Hi everyone
I thought i would share my fix with you all
I had some trouble with my brake light being stuck on and the switch not registering that I had un-pressed the brake.
I took the front handlebar casing off and the sensor is at the top of the brake lever with two small female wires attached. I unclipped the wires and unscrewed the sensor, I noticed that the senor is a clicker that work in a reverse way so as you ride it is engaged and when you brake it disengages.
What I found is that when my brake lever was returned to an un-braking position it was not enabling the sensor.
The sensor button itself is about 1mm across and about 3mm high, I was going to glue an extra piece of plastic on top but it was going to be a bit fiddly and I might have glued the sensor in place.
What I did was take a ear bud cut of the buds, heat it up a little then slid the ear bud tube over the existing sensor (this will make sense when you see the sensor) I played around with height of the tube to get the best brake light response, i screwed it back in and now it all works fine.
