Ebay buyers, I think, are a lot more savvy than they were several years ago. When you get a bunch of watchers but no bidding, look for the action to pick up on the last day and then the last few minutes....

I don't watch, so others don't know that I am interested. I have my limit. I put in my bid but not to the last click to say "do it." I make the last click at 4 seconds before the end of the auction. I don't let someone else a bid thinking "well, maybe a bit more...."

I don't think the canine activity reference translates across the pond.
