Insurance
There are so many variables involved in how rates are calculated (age, location, scooter model, deductibles, coverage, etc.) that almost no one gets the same quotes from the same companies. Shopping around is the best way to go, and calling is better than looking online.
FWIW, I have 2 scoots insured with Geico with roadside assistance, full coverage, $500 deductible for under $250/year.
When we tried to insure my wife who had the same riding experience I did when I first got my quote, was the same age, and owned a cheaper scooter, Geico quoted over $600. It's a crap shoot!
