Do these work? It would possibly be easier and cheaper for me to use my ATV3 with a Panny 8 series monitor than buy a HDMI terminal board. Also would mean I would not have to fish another cable through the walls.

I'm not certain if this will address your question. However are you attempting to hook up an Apple TV3 to a Home Theater (Panasonic) and there is a lack of a direct HDMI receptacle to plug and play?

If yes then I believe this could have been similar to the issue of hooking up our cable coaxial (which we thought we provide best transfer of video signal).
However, we found out that this was not optimal and we simply hooked up the video using the RCA cables (yellow, blue, red) and then we needed to hook up red and white for the audio. This provided (as explained by Time Warner Tech) a signal equal to a HDMI hookup but using "component hook up"...hence when we go to select input we need to component to select proper input. We were able to "label" to insure guest would not find it difficult to select proper input.
