I know I'm new and not doing anything well, but a little positive feed back would be appreciated. I may be egocentric, but I'm not a raging comment hunter. Made a purchase I want to feel good about, and all I get are speedbump jokes.

Maybe you should give your posts a chance rather than starting new threads. Folks here are very helpful and open minded about other brands. Someone knowledgeable about your bike will chime in soon and start the ball rolling. Welcome to MV!

In one of your other posts you seemed to indicate that you were going to sell it because the parts for it are hard to find. Is this how you want to proceed? An ET4 would be a good choice for a scoot that is easy to get parts for...

I was going to buy the Hexagon, but feared I couldn't get replacement parts. However, the seller made me an attractive offer. So, I bought it. For a first bike, I think the Hexagon will do nicely. However, I plan on getting an ET4 in the future. In silver.

I like the lines from the front. You could always do something crazy like this

Thanks, Baudler
The parts are all there, and no one would ask for a ride...

I like the curved lines of the Hexagon. It is actually quite reminiscient of the ET, which was introduced in 1996 (one year after the Hexagon). I suspect the same designer had a hand in both. (and the trunk seems to have staged a reintroduction with the MP3 )

Thanks Raider and Dooglas
Yeah, I can see the design features carrying on in other Piaggio products, especially the trunk.

Thanks for posting a picture of that scoot. I had never heard of or seen one.

Yours too, Baudler. Nice.

A Hexagon!

I remember these. When I was running a Vespa shop in East London, I got a ton of these in as trade-ins on Piaggio Skippers in the early 2000's. Couldn't sell enough of those things.

For those who haven't seen a Skipper:

As I recall, very, very susceptible to corrosion on the hard parts. Have a good clean up and go crazy with the grease and it should be fine.
