I rarely have time for TV. We watch more in the winter when there is nothing to do. I usually watch something on netflix or amazon prime. I never watch anything real time. It might take 2 or 3 nights to get a whole episode in.

Right now we just finished (as of last night) Dr. Who season 7, watched the day of the doctor and now waiting for the next season. All of our kids have been watching it too at their homes. So when we get together it makes for fun dinner conversation.

We watch Ancient Aliens too when we get a chance. Looks like we have some season 6 now available for streaming. This is my go to show and I have all the seasons on DVD.

Sleepy Hollow is good. The legend is near where i grew up. My Grandparents home (Hollowville) wasn't far from where it was. We played a school called Ichabod Crane. Smaller than my school. Nicely done series IMHO. We had the Rip Van Winkle legend also. Wonder if they'll make a series out of that one.

I agree with many of the shows listed, but just have to mention one that no one has brought up yet:

The Returned
(or Les Revenants)

It's a French show that is absolutely brilliant. If you like quality, understated mystery/drama then you owe it to yourself to check it out. I got it with captions on a thumb drive from a friend, but it's available from your favourite online source...

Seriously, try to check it out without reading too much about it. I knew the basic premise before watching and it intrigued me, but would have loved to have watched it totally clueless about what was going on.

I have friends in the TV industry who consider it to be amongst the best shows ever made, its that good.

I just bingewatched Death in Paradise, and it is one of the funniest things on TV these days.

Anotherr favorite is 19.2, a Montreal based police series that is extremely addicting.

Happy toi see they brought The Americans back.

Gotta Say, Banshee and Justified are still in my top ten.

JIMMY i do watch Defiance. Forgot to put it in. Others Hawaii 50,Sleepy Hollow (really great IMHO),Reign,Black List,Madame Secetary and a few others i forgot.

Agreed...

I had reservations about it as to whether or not they could pull it off but it has been better than I expected... We are actually paying $2 a week to watch it 'live' instead of waiting for it to come out on Netflix, which says something because we haven't watched 'live' TV in almost 15 years.

They have maintained some of the Albuquerque Quirkiness that I love and done a good job of developing the story so far.

I posted on the first page, a year and a half ago. That was the BBB era. Before Breaking Bad. The current era is ABB. After Breaking Bad. I've said before that I've never seen anything like it. I am currently rewatching it with my girlfriend, who hasn't seen it. We are about 2/3 of the way through and she likes it as much as me. I reread the thread and it's amazing how many people mention it. I'm looking forward to Better Call Saul. I'm glad to hear that it's getting good reviews.

P.S. Nothing wrong with old threads.

I watched an episode of iZombie, brought to you by the creator of Veronica Mars. It was really funny and different.

Just about (7 episodes left) finished watching all 4 seasons of the The Unit

Couldn't help noticing that whenever The Unit were outside of North America, be it Europe, Middle East, Far East, South America, the producer simply added scooters riding past, or sometimes just the sound of scooters to the street scenes, maybe to add authenticity

This just adds to the (sadly) misguided perception that all we do is ride round on scooters all day long

Of course not! Most of the day is spent drinking at the pub or watching cricket matches or putting the hired help in their place.

I discovered a show's called 1992. It's comedy based on World War 2 in Italy. It reminds me of Hogan's Hero's and Monty Python morphed into one show. Found it on you tube.

I've been going through Corner Gas. Great show.

On my recent business trip I binge-watched the first season of the excellent Australian Drama series 'A Place To Call Home'. Really incredibly well done period piece with compelling script and wonderful acting.

I'm now that I'm caught up with my wife and daughter, I can watch season two along with them.

I've just found 'The Trip' with Steve Coogan and Rob Bryden

2 seasons on Netflix

watched episode 3 last night where Bryden does his 'small man trapped in a box' thing (which I have never seen before but found funny as f**k)

After The Wire, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, and Breaking Bad I am spoiled. I only do Netflix/Amazon and DVDs now.

For fun I watch Family Guy, American Dad, and of course Southpark.

So now i'm obsessed with Criminal Minds. Didn't realize it has been on 10yrs. A&E has them sorta in order. Yay 8)
