Looks like maybe 5 or 6 ppl this evening, just about right. Weather's great & we're ready to go.
Oh, I got a couple nice door prizes for some lucky attendees...

Gentlemen, I have to bow out this evening as the blower in my car's AC needs repair and my family is driving the car to Portland and back this weekend... I'm riding my bike in the annual "STP" ride this weekend and my wife and kid will meet me in Portland to drive my tired ass home, I figure I owe them AC as the temps this weekend will be in the 90s.
Until next time! |

Tomorrow after work then. Got shipment from Mercato & Morrie's new P will be going live for us I believe.
Last time around: Scot installed new Clauss mounts, also pulled his head for inspection and checked his flywheel key(all good) - Hal fixed rear seal & did the batteryless conversion on his smallie so now he has lites - Morrie & Isaac pulled the top end & got stuff ready for the new 166 kit to replace his scuffy & groovy 150 - I discovered that the only reason the smallie motor I just 'fixed' wouldn't run was the leaf spring in the points broke, BIG relief! 2 hot dogs & several beers later, Scot is still at it.

Plus Scot got his glovebox door fixed & ground down his clutch cover so his fatty back tire doesn't rub, Hal rebuilt his 20/20 carb & got his ratty P running better and I got the blue smallie running pretty good after fixing the busted points. |

Happy 2015
We're back at it, I've been helping Skot on his motor rebuild & frame repaint so I guess it's a whole scooter makeover. We have a strong difference of opinion as to whether his P or my VB1 project will be on the road first. Also a couple of other ppl have started new projects here and we've usually been meeting on Saturdays.
C'mon by tomorrow if you're out & about and want to see what we're up to. With the good weather, there's always more workspace in the driveway if needed. |

Voodoo, I still need to install the BGM fuel tap I bought a year ago.
It's a pain to do it in the parking space in my condo. Maybe something I could swing by and take care of with you guys? Next week I'm in Seattle. |

Sorry we missed you, once we get going I don't deal with the computer unless something technical needs to be looked up. Anyone needing contact info if you think you'd like to come, please PM me by late Friday nite.
We got a fair amount done, Skot got some needed painting finished up and his fork & hub reassembled after powder coating. New guy Bret is getting his 8 year garaged P200 running & looking good and is learning general mechanical skills as well as how to fix his Vespa. Morrie broke his foot skateboarding, but still is busy putting final cosmetic touches on his P so it'll be all ready when his foot is. More could have been done but there was a problem with the weather & hunger. Too nice NOT to go for a little ride. Many of the civilians out in the fine weather were hooting & hollering at us and we finally chased down some heavenly fried chicken for more work energy. Day.Well.Spent. Sorry, no pics. Skot? |

PM sent. Out of all of my small frames only the pink 1970 is currently operational. A frustrating time since my husband is working two months straight. Ordering parts like a mad woman in hopes to get the 64 back on the road as it swallowed a carb spring. The 75 is having a electrical hiccup and needs a couple parts ordered. the 77 needs LOTS of help, not sure where to start. the 83 needs a case.... um oh the 78 needs well... to be put together.... sometimes 17 bikes are fun.... sometimes it can be challenging.... |
