Seriously thought of of putting this in the Ride Report.
Let me introduce you to my grandson who is 4. He is too short to tough the
passenger pegs just young enough not to know how to hold on and too big to fit in the pet carrier.
The other night when he came over we went for a ride. He brought his bicycle helmet and loves to press the start button when directed. He sits between my legs and grabs the mirror stems and squeals with joy, "Faster,
Grandpa faster. I buz along at 8 - 10 mph. We spent a half hour cruising in the school parking lots next to my house we put on 4 miles. Once he looked at speedometer pointed to 0 and said lets go this fast. We could talk and do figure 8's then he directed me to do a 9... I tried. We talked about when he got big how he was going to get a scooter and we could race to the State Park and go swimming.
One of the best 1/2 hours of my life..... and on a Vespa
