Last night I had a buddy following me on while I was riding the mp3 and he said it looked like the rear tire was vibrating or shaking side to side.
I did not feel any strange vibration while I was riding but I decided to check it out .
I put the bike on the c. stand and was able wiggle the rear wheel side to side. the center nut and codder pin were intact. It seems like the rear wheel should not have any slop at all.
Is this normal ? Has anyone had similar experiences on the GTS?
Should I go to the dealer asap?
Thanks in advance for any input.

I don't know if that's normal but I'm sure going to check out mine tomorrow. Keep in touch as will I.

Check it
Well, it's essentially the same as the GTS/Gt back there, and if the washers and spacers aren't all proper, there can be some (potentially damaging or dangerous) play. Get it to the dealer ASAP, and don't ride it there either.

loose wheel question
Washing the scooter tonight on the centerstand, I noticed that the rear wheel could rotate forwards and backwards with a little clunk . It will not move side to side :? . Is this normal or is this a problem that should be looked at ?

update:
Upon further inspection I think my buddy was drunk
The wheel does not move side to side. my mistake
Howeve it does move fore and aft.
I think this is a normal function of the CVT drivetrain.

The first time I followed someone who was riding my MP3, I thought "why is he dragging his feet?" It turned out I was seeing the two front wheels The thing looks different, so your buddy was probably confused.
