And then there's Alex Eischeid, who just wrapped up a solo journey from Prudhoe Bay, AK to the southern tip of South America on a mostly stock PX125 (with lots of adventures, mechanical and otherwise, along the way).

Racing at the "Vintage Days" a few years back...i signed up for the "mini bike" class. I nailed the holeshot while giving the rest of the pack the "middle finger salute" that they all deary deserved from all of the trash talking that i received from them at the starting line...i then promptly got high centered in the deep ruts at the next corner.
Fast forward the video to see a P150 wearing knobbys at minute :22, 2:22, and 2:28.
Note the fresh Axo Gear and the Bieffe helmet!

Loving the hi pipes to avoid snags, got any closeups of one of these setups? I once thought for a dirt bike of flipping the cylinder on a 2 port motor 180 degrees so the exhaust comes out the top and using a sidedraft carb to get it out of the way of the necessary exhaust plumbing.

Another one. Also loving the safety gear, they both have hats on.

about the sideup pipe i cannot get more info beside it was owned by Dadang Excel from west java and its 250cc so they said as for those kids they were clueless and most Indo boys are like that.. hell, i remember 3 days ago testing a friend honda rebel 500cc in the middle of the night and went 140kmh on third gear and the only thing prevent me to went on forth gear is cause i forget to wear a helmet and i mean it when i said i am forget to wear cause i actually didnt carry one that time, i admit i am guilty but its so spontanious and i feel like i had a good karma that night to be able testin an expensive bike

ride safe Brother T and cheer

Here's what we've been doing for a little while now. It's on a mate's back paddock... the track could use some real work but it's good 'clean' fun.

Reminds me of my early teens. I had a Cimatti City Bike moped with 20" wheels. I found that BMX tires fit quite nicely, and had a lot of fun on trails back in the day.

Wish I had pics, but we didn't have camera phones (or even mobile phones) back then. Heck, I didn't even have a film camera at the time.

I was down in Sonora Mexico last month at a offroad Rally race (motos, quad, SxS, and buggies). There was a racer down there who was wearing a Scooter Help t-shirt. I asked him about the shirt, but he had no clue what it was about. He simply got the shirt from a friend who (I believe?) ran the website. Anyhow, I snapped a pic of him while he was going through the tech inspection.

If you had something with a trashed leg shield you could definitely make a great cut down like that, I like it also.

We're tossing up the idea of a rally dirt bike. Especially since last year we got rained and mudded pretty hardcore. Starting to become a theme.

Hi there! Thinking about build off-road PK.
Maybe someone can give some advices about how to increase front and rear suspension height? More simply way is the best as for me.
And how about mount 3.50 or 90/90 tyre on rear? Need also lot of modifications or one of that sizes can go straight?
TIA.

first you're going to want to weld a bar from the frame to the headstock tunnel.

you can run a 3.50 on the front, but it handles like crap. I mean, not that big of a deal if you're low speed and off road.

in the back, you can run some 3.50's or 100/90's with a little grinding on the motor case swing arm but selection of tire plays the most important part. some will work, some won't because of the actual size. a little trial and error here.

as for raising it? a longer shock and shock spacer in the rear would help. up front you're kinda jammed up. a different fork-- like say an ET/LX with an 11" front would get you there. a longer shock on the stock fork might get you a little, but again, handling wise it wouldn't be great.

100% change the exhaust to something that's on the LH side, even a banana or cheap curly will give you a bit better ground clearance.

What's your view on this Greasy? I'm more thinking about on the road, but what's the reasoning?

I've run a bunch of combos front and rear. and with the 3.5 up front it just feels sluggish, like it's plowing and the turn in doesn't feel as quick and as sharp. like it's slow to react or catch up, and even more so with a 3.0 or 90 rear.

I think the best compromise is 90/90's front and back, or if you can fit a 3.50 out back and a 90 up front that would be a hot ticket.

but remember, not all tires are made the same. for instance, there's no way you'd ever fit a pirelli SL26 3.50, but a Michelin S1 fits just fine!

Great tips Greasy! Thanks.
Fork on photo is bended but its old photo. Now scoot is stripped down and I have another good fork. Not understand about rear shock spacer. PK shock don't have it. Or I can use PX spacer and silent block?

And yes I already have Polini Banana.

BTW this scooter will not be ultimate off-road machine - for this I have Yamaha TT600R.
More like for fun and relax rides. Only 102cc Polini and 19.19 carb.

all the builds I've seen have used a custom spacer and the PX block or just rubber bushings. I'm sure you could make either work.

sounds like it'll be fun little off road ripper! 102 w/ a 19 that pipe and the right gearing should pull wheelies for days!

Now I have its original 3 speed gear box. Not sure but maybe I find another with 4 gears. But in both ways I want to try 3.16(19/60) primary. I tried it on roads and it seems bit short, so think for off-road it will be ok. This scoot is cheap project from parts that I already have. I also ordered one knobby tire 90/90-10 to see how it fits on back wheel.
