I would like brembo calipers, but the wavey disc just doesn't go with the vintage look of the scooter. Of course you could say the same about the stock drilled disc.

Whats the advantage of wavy other than looks?

Brembo I might go for if it was an improvement over stock, it would depend on price point though.

We were never going for the vintage look with the rotor.
The wavey rotors cools better then stock, and they are lighter then stock to. If you like a racey looking bike with custom parts then that rotor is for you.
The Brembo bracket is taking us some time to get right before we go into production. As soon as the finished Brembo bracket is done I will post a picture if it.

I may be wrong but looking at the footprint, it appears that there is less contact surface due to the wavy cut-outs, for the brake pads to do their job. Isn't this how brakes work: stationary pads pressing against rotating surface?

Since I'm not tracking my scooter, I don't see the need for extra cooling. I do have the need for excellent braking, and a better brake (Brembo?) is something I would consider, if the front tire can handle it. If I would risk to go in lock-up too easily, I'd rather stay with stock.

The looks, I don't care for. Not on a Vespa.

What is happening with this?
I love the brembo's. a more progressive brake system helps you PREVENT locking up, but with more useable stopping power.
I am all for it.
I know you have the kits with the brembo's, but what about the discs?
Getting the brembo kit over the winter for sure... dunno about the discs...

Joel I had a wavy caliper made. I am still in testing with it. If all works out OK with it I will have more made. They are a bit different looking then the one I posted before. When are you going to get a new GTS? I saw you totalled your one on the CBR. PM me your email I got something I need you to test out for me soon.

As far as the MP3. That is a whole different ball game, everything it bigger or smaller then a GTS front end. so sorry no brembo will fit between the rim and the rotor.
