After the wrap...what kind of glue do I put on my 500ie decal back on the side panel?
I believe they're originally attached with double-stick tape. 3M automotive trim tape would be appropriate, but I think any "permanent" double-sided tape will work.

If you want to glue it, I'd guess that just about any glue would work. I'd probably use a couple dots of super glue.

Personally, I just left the decals off the last time I repainted. I think it looks cleaner without them.

the black carbon fiber looks great! Here's mine
Will do you any pics of scoot before the paint job? It would be nice to see a before after view.
Here are the before pictures from the craigslist ad when I rescued it from some boring lady that was letting it collect dust and tire rot in her backyard lol. Unfortunately all pictures from the makeover process were lost in my last phone.

I painted the original black parts a high gloss black and wrapped the "dragon red" panels, also added chrome wrap to the bottom and accents in the decals. Decals from front to back state "Luke 6:46", "Trike Life", and "500cc". I also covered(wrapped) all Piaggio logos to keep the random people that we encounter at gas stations and red lights guessing

I also dumped the decal badges when I wrapped my 500. I did this for two reasons: first, I believe that I was a little rough with them while getting them off and, second, I also believe that the bikes look cleaner without the emblems. This might result in a lack of advertising for Piaggio in America, but since the aren't importing MP3's at the moment I don't fell obligated to help them sell more bikes.

My First and Last Wrap .... I hope lol
So here's some before and after and final pics..

LOL I wrapped twice before keeping the first panel #3rd time... I wrapped the other side only twice ...lol

Glad its over lol... took 5hrs the first panel... about 3hrs on the 5th wrap. Im a slow learner...

Special thanks to Maksor for selling me the wrap. The solid color wrap would have been easier if you have to "stretch" the carbon black - the stretch distorts your finished product.... thus I rewrapped before I made "a keeper!" Glad maksor sold me excess wrapping so I practiced some....

Mod.....DONE! yea Clown emoticon

Oooh thats sexy. I like the carbon fiber look.

But I think I am going to go this direction. Image 1

However, what I really want to do is paint, but this won't happen until I get a house with a garage. Once I have a house with a garage I can make a DIY paint booth. I would use the colors and scheme in the next image. I can actually get full sized decals of the skull, red logo, and the U.N.Spacy. I have always been a fan of RoboTech the anime.

I think someone did a wrap in that number one image. I love the second idea. Sure will be an expensive paint job..if ha gotta buy a house and garage first though..
