Modern Vespa

as promises here's the few pics i gather out of today vespa event held in Jakarta, since everyone like shinny and clean bike hope you all like it























the event in the pics is actually the starting point after that they went to a beer house, and since i only last there for 5 minutes so i only gather a few pics.. maybe some other local folks can post more pics as i know lot of Indo member here attend there as well and post more pics then i do

they seem to like their 80s stylee mudguard bumpers

80's styling is big at the moment in the jakarta scene.. and they tend to copy cat each other hahaha..

What are the "covers" over the front shocks.?
Are they using a different front end? If so, what are they using?

them covers on the fork/shock are just more 80s styling

as bitza said, it's a slap-'em-on fork cover by stillmotor, a very 80's styling accessory, fork is standar..

after the chrome-mod fad, people tend to go for that 80's scootering mod trend at the moment.. dont know what comes next hahaa..

@bitza : indeed for best color, haven't look back since hahaa.. it may look like a t5 look a like, but it is a very proud Indonesian Excel 200 (project thread coming) with malossi and other bells and whistles

if only i bring my excel i might stay there longer but my wife told me to ride the smallie and didnt like to stay too long since its a different vespa event from what we tend to attend (she is a vespa extreme lover like myself)beside i dont drink beer so cant joint the trip to the cafe
