I have heard nothing about where Aprilia may go with it's line of scooters in the US. Doesn't seem like they have anything big (like a Sport City 350) about to happen. I don't think you have to worry about Aprilia pulling out of the US though. Their line of motorcycles sells fairly well, and their scooters interchange most mechanical parts with the Piaggios. I just went for a Sport City 300 to keep at a vacation place. Nice ride. I wouldn't hesitate to go for one of the 'Beos if that calls to you.

You should be able to get an Aprilia scooter serviced at any Piaggio or Vespa dealership since they share many, if not most of the same parts. Had my BV serviced at the local Apilia shop in Houston because they have really, really good mechanics and the Vespa/Piaggio dealership I would have normally used wasn't accepting scoots for anything more than routine maintenance things like oil changes since they are apparently in the process of being sold.

We have 2 Aprilias, a Sports City 250 and Scarabeo 500. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. The Sports City will be my cannonball ride so you can tell I think they are reliable.
