----> Leovince is in voluntary liquidation. The company owner, Sito Group Industriale Spa, has stopped all production from 23 September, difficult at the moment to predict what will make the brand, among the most respected in the world and this year winner of SBK World Championship with Tom Sykes.
Ends 60 years of history: the Leovince, together with Akrapovic, is one of the manufacturers of the world's most popular exhaust systems. The crisis unfortunately does not spare anyone and the italian manufacturer was forced to get in voluntary liquidation. The entire Sito Gruppo Industriale Spa, founded in Turin in 1954 by Pietro Mollo, over the last five years has experienced highs and lows in the latter period things got worse: about half of the 90 employees of the production site of Monticello d'Alba was on layoff. The company's debt is said to be around 30 million euros, compared with a turnover that would not achieve a third of this figure. Hard to know what will become of the brand, when in fact there are no buyers on the horizon. From France, however, arrive (unconfirmed) rumors that this would be a profound restructuring, if first delivered their products directly to retailers now you should support national distributors, the factory in Poland, could continue with the production of wastes at two and four stroke. No certainty about the fate of the employees of the plant in Monticello d'Alba, who, ironically, could celebrate this year the SBK World Championship won by Kawasaki ZX-10R by Tom Sykes has an exhaust system developed by Leovince.

I think the final nail in the coffin for Leo Vince was California. When CARB tightened restrictions on aftermarket exhausts, it killed off a lot of the aftermarket exhaust business. The rest of the US Motorcycle market does not want CARB approved exhausts, and most companies can't afford to make two versions of the same pipe and get one approved by CARB.

Sorry to hear this.

I have bought LV systems for two different machines and been happy with both. They proved to be robust and durable.

What about this news:

Sounds like they will continue and only the Italy plant is being liquidated.

I'll have to install a Malossi RX that is much more expensive ... (450 EUR ).
Akrapovic is priced the same but has problems at the attachment bracket
(for my scooter).
LeoVince SBK 2, equal to that of Bommes it was in my viewfinder but... end of game, patience ...

Or they didn't know. Or they are going to source the product somewhere else and keep the name. Most of the real manufacturing was being done in Poland for quite some time, and there were rumors about LV closing the Poland plant and shutting down operations in Italy for about three weeks before the story about them closing got into the news.
I just sold my 4 Road and put on a PM Tuning exhaust, and after doing that, I really think I should have kept the 4 Road. It was very well designed and servicing the bike with it on was easy. It would make a much better touring exhaust than most of them out there, because it was designed with the mechanic in mind.
