Ok, so I finally got around to changing the rollers on my GTs 250 ie. Unfortunately I didn't get off to a good start- when trying to remove the Air Filter Box from the engine I sheared-off the two rear screws Crying or Very sad emoticon . What's left of the middle screw is still holding the air filter box onto the engine as there seems to be some clip at the rear holding it. With great difficulty I still managed to get the transmission cover off.

So my question is- do I really need to try to get what's left of the two screws out & replace them? The front one is still good & as above the middle one is still holding the Air Filter Box, so really it's only the rear screw is missing. If I can get away with it it would be preferable to buying an "easy-out" set & messing around with drills etc. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about it but i'd check the ones you have on there occasionally. Lost all mine once when i hit some bad roads. I don't have all of them in there now and i don't have a problem. If you have some time it would be nice to drill it out and put one in. I'm going to get some extras and fill all of mine in someday. Laughing emoticon Good luck
