Anyone know any decent places to park a scooter near Waterloo Station, London?
Free would be great but I dont mind paying a few quid either.
TIA

I would be delighted to offer a solution to your parking dilemna, but since I actually live in a suburb of Sacramento, California, I, unfortunately have no suggestion. Good luck, anyway.

Well, I was in London a couple of times. I noticed not too many folks or cars for that matter, were near Big Ben. Perhaps this may be of help.

The one below is APCOA and costs £4 by the looks of it. Manned and well lit by the looks of it. It has the safe parking badge as well.

The car park under the National Theatre always used to be free for bikes, but it's ages since I've used it.
There also used to be scooter parking on the raised level road approach to the station itself: right next to the station - but you had to pay.
Have you tried the P I E guide on the web, or the parkingforbikes website?
I think there may be a bay on The Cut, as well. I live not too far from there, but I always walk. Trying to think. If I come up with more ideas I'll be back

Doesn't show the parking at the station, but there used to be paid parking on Station Approach Rd

Thanks guys! I managed to get a bit of what you suggested from the web. Was looking to see if anyone had any local insider type knowledge. Thanks again.

Are they taxing/licensing your scooter like the autos in London?

If you mean the congestion charge - no. I expect they would have done if they could, but the CC number-plate readers read the front number-plate, and PTWs don't have one of those.

Thanks guys ended up in St Thomas's Hospital. The car park there is free to PTWs and I got to use the toilet! Bonus!
