I received my lights today to add to my scoot later in the Spring. Is it normal for these lights to come from China?
Maybe that is why the price is near $35 for the two HIDs?

Yeah all the DDM stuff comes from China.

There was nothing in there about instructions .... so I guess I will depend on the forum to put the mod together ......... later

They are quite easy to install, just plug the connectors in place and replace the bulbs. The only 'tricky' part maybe is the ballast placement, but is just matter of a clamp and zip ties.

Lots of us made this before, check the previous threats, I did this a pair of days ago, for instance.

Timing is off a little ... I just placed my order last week

I will come back and say that after quite some time with a set of these in the MP3, and another set installed in my van (hi/lo combo for those), I am VERY happy with these lights. No issues at all.

Haven't had mine as long but love them so far. Last night I had changed my coolant and was in the process of bleeding the system. The garage door was open and my lights were shining on the neighbor's house. He came over after I was done and asked me if I had put a spotlight on his house. I started the scoot and showed him. He was amazed at how bright they were.
