It was probably already dead - you could look on this as a resurrection.

I like it. It takes the geekiness away and replaces it with quirkiness.

I kinda like it. It's a big improvement over the looks of the Segway plus it probably runs a lot better now (shameless plug for electric vehicles). Also you could hide some killer landing lights or ground effects under that horncast.

Much better than the real ones IMHO. Even has a mirror. Laughing emoticon Don't think any "real" vespas were killed to make it tho.

true as I'm sure that spare parts can be had so they might have just
used reproduction parts

Have any of you ever ridden a segway? We had a couple of the "off-road" ones for Bonnaro a couple of years ago. This one seems to be made for a kid or a smaller person. Your arms aren't supposed to be that low when riding, they are out and even usually for an optimum ride.

But you really shouldn't mess around with the original design says the segway army.....

I'm probably not alone in feeling both ways about this.

It is sad to lose a Vespa to this project, but maybe it was a second life for the scooter.

But...

It IS the coolest looking Segway I've ever seen.

Maybe Piaggio should buy Segway.

that could be interesting, a freeway capable Segway?

yes it would be sad to have lost a Vespa but we don't know for
sure that we did after all maybe it was made using aftermarket parts

Now, now... It doesn't have the winged badge, excessive chrome, or a two-tone paint scheme -- and it definitely doesn't have the telltale yellowish centerstand boots.

A resurrection only if it can ride on water.

I would like it better if it had a spare tire and an antenna with a flag.
