squeaky front shock absorber LX125

morning all,

in the past few months the front suspension developed a squeaky noise, last Feb it was replaced as a it fails MOT made by totally incompetent person (they said it was too soft but once replaced (costed 220) it was even softer as they used an aftermarket, so many cowboys around)... anyway can possibly water/humidity caused the squeaky noise? and how to fix it?

What shock did they replace it with? Are you sure it's the front shock? Can you hear it? The swing arms can squeak as well.

Look at the shock. What name does it have on it? It's an accurate indicator.

The stock shocks suck. My front one, dove when i hit the brakes. No problems after i replaced it with a Malossi. 8)
